Baby Corn-Based Intercropping System in Enhancing the Growth and Production of Winter Season Baby Corn in Chhattisgarh Plains

An experiment was carried out during the winter season (rabi) for two years 2019-20 and 2020-21 on Instructional cum Research Farm, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalay, Raipur (C.G.) to enhance production of baby corn through intercropping. The laid in randomized block design (RBD) with eight treatment consisting sole paired row along a combination various legumes. treatments were T1 : (45 x 20 cm), T2 (30/60 cm) T3 fenugreek (30 10 T4 pea T5 cowpea T6 + (2:2), T7 (2:2) T8 (2:2). result concluded that growth attributes highest under T6: which closely followed by T8: cowpea. Also, maximized cob fodder yield therefore proved be valuable intercrop enhancing corn.
